Marie Osmond has spent decades entertaining audiences, but her musical journey still holds surprises. Best known for her 1973 hit Paper Roses and the beloved television partnership Donny & Marie, she became a familiar face to generations of fans. However, her career continued to evolve in unexpected ways.
While performing in musical theater, Marie discovered that her voice could reach beyond the country music style that first made her famous. A vocal coach recognized her soprano potential, inspiring her to spend years studying new techniques and exploring classical music. That dedication eventually led to her 2021 album Unexpected, which reached number one on Billboard’s classical crossover albums chart. In April 2026, she also reunited musically with the late Dan Seals through the release You Still Move Me, bringing back memories of their award-winning 1980s collaboration. Marie’s story is about more than nostalgia; it is about staying curious, continuing to learn, and discovering new possibilities at every stage of life.
